About Beautiful Extras

As a kid, my mom used to talk about life's little extras, which were the things we didn't need but that made life more beautiful, like the bright colors of fall or the sweet smell of flowers. I believe that the big moments and events in people's lives deserve extras to make them special and memorable and I do what I can to add them to any event that I work on.

I began working events in 2011, while I was still in college, for a student organization and a catering company. I realized quickly how much I liked the organization. As I continued with it, I realized how much I enjoy helping people make their events be the best they can possibly be. 

In the last 3 years, since starting my business, I have had the privilege of working with a number of brides to help them plan for and pull of their events. I have also worked with NRV Bridals and Events as an intern, executive board member and then officer to put on bridal expos, networking events, and charity wedding events, such as Make A Wedding Wish Come True. Most recently, I have begun serving as the president of Blacksburg Swing Dance to plan and organize weekly dances, lessons and special events with professional instructors and musicians. 

Whatever the event, I can make the planning stress free and the day of as smooth as it can be. I work to meet any and all budgets and help with whatever it is that causes concern. Please visit my services page and contact us so that we can build the perfect package for your event.
